So Twitter has been all a buzz today, for as Whovians know, today is Peter Capaldi, the shiny new 12th Doctor’s first day of filming. Below the cut you can check out the photo The BBC has released to mark this occasion.

I, for one, am excited for the next chapter in Whovian history, and even more so to how they are going to explain/link the fact that Capaldi has appeared both in Doctor Who and Torchwood before. Moffat has said that it will be addressed, unless he was lying, which is also a possibility.
