Full Disclosure: I am a BIG Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan, always have been. I grew up in the height of Turtle Mania, during recess, while other girls my age were playing house, I was teaming up with the boys to be the April to their Turtles. So when news of a new Ninja Turtles movie, helmed by Michael Bay, came to light I was a bit conflicted. On the one hand more TMNT, on the other hand…Michael Bay has made it no secret that he is “reworking” large chunks of the mythology. I believe in not (overly) judging a movie till after you’ve seen it, but even after this teaser I’m still not so sure how I feel about this new take on our beloved Turtles.
