When the production stills were released for Agent Carter back during New York Comic Con I was already drooling over the clothes. If you have paid attention to our blog or listen to our podcast at all over the last 6 weeks, then you know how in love with the fashion of Agent Carter I am. Holding a BFA in Costume Design helps that along a tad, but you have got to admit that the clothes are not only well made, but well matched to the characters.

In these segments entitled “Dress For Success” Costume Designer Giovanna Ottobre-Melton takes us on a walk through Peggy’s wardrobe and the wardrobe of her male counter parts. All of those period-accurate a-line skirts sure made it easier for Peggy to kick some butt! Pay attention to the insides of her nightclub undercover dress and what Gi Gi says about appropriate work wardrobe. She also talks about all of those sweaters vests in Sousa’s wardrobe and why she chose them. Pardon me while I go watch this five more times …
