Just in case you haven’t heard, there is a Flash/Arrow spinoff in development. What does that mean exactly? Well, Firestorm, Atom, Captain Cold and Carnary are going to be in a series that isn’t The Flash or Arrow. If your answer to this is a raised eyebrow and, “qua?” we are right there with you.

According to Comicbook.com, this series is in the early stages of development and already has Caity Lotz connected to it. If you don’t know, Caity Lotz played Sara Lance  AKA Canary on Arrow, but [SPOILER] was killed off having her sister Laurel take up her mantle much to our chagrin here at IAGTM. From what is said in the article, the spinoff would be ordered straight to series. The possibility for this series to be set in the past, pre-Arrow and The Flash is pretty high based on the fact that they want to include Canary who, presumably, is dead in the DC Comic TV universe. Although, those Lazarus Pits do exist …

When asked if he would return as Firestorm to The Flash, Robbie Amell had this to say:

“They haven’t made anything official but it sounds like I’ll be back for the end of the season,” Amell said. “And if what they’re telling me about comes to be, it’s going to absolutely blow people away.”
