Stan Lee to join forces with Carnival Films on ‘Lucky Man’

For Downton Abbey fans who are also Marvel fans, this is super cool news we have here. Stan Lee, our generalissimo, is partnering with Carnival Films (producers of acclaimed series Downton Abbey) for a ten episode series called Lucky Man. Apparently, Stan Lee has had the idea for this series for a while and his company POW! Entertainment is going to collaborate with Carnival on the project.

The series, who’s story is centering around detective Harry Clayton (James Nesbitt)m a cop from Central London’s notorious Murder Squad, who is given a charm that seems to confer upon the wearer the ability to control luck. It will star James Nesbitt (“The Hobbit” trilogy, “The Missing”), Eve Best (“Nurse Jackie,” “The Honorable Woman”) and Sienna Guillory (“Fortitude,” “Luther,” “Love Actually”).

Don’t expect to see this series any time soon. It will debut on Sky1 in the UK in 2016 to be distributed globally by NBCUniversal International Distribution. So, hopefully, we will also get to see this series some time soon after.
