Michelle Dockery to Star in The Sense of An Ending

Work sure has not been in low demand for Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery. Already, with the show soon wrapping on it’s final episode, Dockery has been slated to star in a pilot for TNT called Good Behaviorto play the lead in  Les Liaisons Dangereus at the Donmar Warehouse this winter and now to star in the film The Sense of An Ending based on a novel by Julian Barnes. When you’re a star, you’re a star.

Dockery will take on the role of Tony Webster’s (to be played by Jim Broadbent) sister Suzie whose role has been expanded from the novel. The film will center on Webster as he is “forced to re-asses his life after he’s left a sum of money.”

Billy Howle will play Webster as a young man, with Freya Mavor as young Veronica and Charlotte Rampling as adult Veronica. Emily Mortimer is slated to play Veronica’s mother, Sarah. Also in the cast are Joe Alwyn, Edward Holcroft, Peter White and Hilton McCrae.

I certainly look forward to the rest of Michelle Dockery’s already-varied career.
