The trailer for 20th Century Fox’s Logan was released earlier this morning. I have to admit, I tend to be wary of “Wolverine” movies, having been burned pretty bad by the last two attempts to give Hugh Jackman’s character a solo film, but well take a look at the trailer yourself.

Not at all what I was expecting, and that is NOT a bad thing. According to IMDB, the synopsis is as follows:

“Set in the future of 2024, Logan and Professor Charles Xavier must cope with the loss of the X-Men when a corporation lead by Nathaniel Essex is destroying the world leaving it to destruction, with Logan’s healing abilities slowly fading away and Xavier’s Alzheimer’s forcing him to forget. Logan must defeat Nathaniel Essex with the help of a young girl named Laura Kinney, a female clone of Wolverine. ”

What gets me excited?

• Sir Patrick Stewart is involved!
• Logan’s healing ability fading
• Boyd Holbrook as a kick ass villain? (Yes, Please)

I may be setting myself up for more heartbreak, but I am now feeling refreshingly (well, cautiously) optimistic. What do you all think? Hit up the comments and let us know!
