Back in January we reported that Gillian Anderson would star as Anna Pavlovna in BBC’s newest adaptation of War and Peace. It has been more than 40 years since the series starring Anthony Hopkins hit the airwaves and the network is now ready to bring us a four-part miniseries set to air on Lifetime, A&E Network, and History in the states come January.
For years, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies has spent years in developmental purgatory waiting for a director that wouldn’t walk right back out of the revolving door. While this please the Austin purists, many zombie fans were and are excited to see it finally get made. With the addition of some top names to the cast and crew, it is sure to make some waves when it hits the theater February 19, 2016.
I’m a sucker for fairytales. I LOVE to see/read different interpretations of them. Go through my book collection and you are bound to find tons of fairytales retold. My theory is that there are around 5 original stories in the universe and everything else is more or less a retelling. Hell, even Shakespeare ripped from the Greeks.
Disney is once again retelling a classic tale, they do that quite a bit you know, but this time they are doing it live action style. Directed Kenneth Branagh Disney’s new live-action Cinderella, stars Lily James, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, and Richard Madden.
