Truth be told, I haven’t been paying too much attention to the direct to DVD DC animated movies lately. It’s been a while since Kevin Conroy has done voiced Batman in any of them, and as he IS Batman, as far as I am concerned, my attention to them has fallen to the wayside.
Every so often though, there comes one where the voice talent makes me sqwee with joy, like Neil Patrick Harris as Nightwing or Jensen Ackles as Red Hood. I really am a sucker for when my fandoms collide, and DC has finally done it again. There upcoming release of Son of Batman, out May 6th 2014, features the voice talents of some pretty geeky alum, including Sean Maher and Morena Baccarin of Firefly!
